Golden Cross, Dale End - 82 Newton Street

My great great grandfather, George Elliot Pearce, was landlord at the Golden Cross, Dale End, 82 Newton Street from roughly 1891 (or maybe slightly earlier) to around 1908. I am very keen to track down any photos of the pub that may be out there. I think some have been posted here before, but the posts contain broken image links due to the hacking incident. If anyone has any images - or indeed any other info about the pub during my ancestor's tenancy - I'd be extremely grateful.
Thanks.

Hello.
I hope you still have access to this page. I was discussing with my wife and her family last night and apparently you two share the same great great grandfather. If you wish to I can get you in touch with her :)
They pulled out an old tankard that her dad had from the pub.
Thanks,
Andrew

I realise it has little to do with what you are talking about at the moment, but the trade directory has the Golden Cross at 81 Dale End which is a little further up the road than Newton street and in fact the pub on the corner of Newton street was the Horse & Groom
