hi pub crawlers
does any-body recall the old george and dragon
that used to be on the corner of weaman st and steel house lane
it was rather a decent pub and a decent pint of mild and a lovely peice of gorgen cheese sandwiches and a packet of smith crisps with the little bagof salt in the surrounding was rather reasonable as well
this would be aroundthe early fifties
those where the days guys when you could relax in a pub with out thinking what yobs are gonna come in chanting foot ball songs on the way to the matches
