Je suis à la recherche du lieu de sépulture de Mr FROST Robert Francis Albert, décédé en septembre 1980. il vivait avec sa femme Gudrunerna au 69 Faulkner road, solihull.
Je suis aussi à la recherche de la mort de sa femme. Je ne sais pas s’ils ont eu des enfants.

I'm also looking into his wife's death. I don't know if they had children.

Sa femme Gudrun Erna était allemande, sous le nom d’Eggemann, ils se sont mariés à Birmingham en 1948, malheureusement sur le certificat de décès il n’est pas indiqué s’ils avaient des enfants.

His wife Gudrun Erna was German, under the name Eggemann, they were married in Birmingham in 1948, unfortunately on the death certificate it is not indicated whether they had children.

I haven't found any birth registrations for Frost showing the mother's maiden name as Eggemann so I don't think they had any children.

I have looked at the registers - in 1980 both Robert and Gudrun were listed at 69 Faulkner Road but neither was there in 1981. We know Robert died in September 1980 but I couldn’t find any information on what happened to Gudrun.

I've just received some new information this morning.
Gudrun returned to Germany in 1981 (town of Hattingen) where she died in 1998.
I have tried to find Mr FROST's place of burial but have found nothing.

We have a result: - I emailed and asked specifically about a cremation. Next time I am over that way I will see if I can get a photo of lawn C (I think I know roughly where that is).

I have checked our Archives and Robert Frost was Cremated with us on 02/10/1980 and the ashes were scattered on Lawn C of our Garden of Remembrance.

That's quite close to our previous detective work locating the grave of John Ready back in February (Lawn 4). I wonder if John's wife's death has now been added to the gravestone.
