An image of Freer Road, interesting in itself. But the other nice point about this is that Birchfield Post Office had its own series of postcards. These would have been very popular as a quick and easy way of communicating with family and friends; no writing of lengthy letters, no envelope needed and cheaper to send than letters. The downside would be: no privacy about the message being sent and limited space for your message. Viv.
