Frederick William WALKER

MILLS

master brummie
Good evening,

I am trying to track the life of Frederick William Walker, born 26 February, 1893 (according to his POW records). On these records his next of kin is noted as Amy WALKER of 200, Alcester Rd, Moseley.

On 1920 Rolls the address is confirmed as above, living with his Mother, Amy.

I can not find any other records for Frederick.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

David

1901 census with parents
Frederick T Walker and Amy at 143 Trafalgar Road Moseley
Listed as Frederick W
(Will post when I put laptop on).

Janice,
Thank you I missed that.
I thought I had covered all options but that slipped through.
I'll have another look tomorrow to see if that opens the way forward.
Again thank you.
David

I found his parents on the 1911 but he isn't with them. Address 200 Alcester Road as per the 1920 erolls in ost 1

Janice, Lyn,

Thank you.

Frederick and his sister Edith A both disappear. Edith A is living with her Mother Amy in 1945 at 14 King Edward Road.

Frederick arrived home from Germany on 21 January1919 as I can not find any Pension card for him I assume he didn't die so soon after, but as I can't find a birth or death for him it's impossible to say.

I will look for Rolls for Edith A (Annie?) to see if he is with his sister.

Thank you both for the time to have spent on this.

Didn't realise you hadn't got a birth reg

I assume that is the correct one based on this marriage for his parents which would make mmn Knight correct.

We wondered as there seems to be no trace of him but he could have died.
Will continue to look.
