I would like to know how long Frederick George Edwards was at 187 Coventry Road Birmingham. I have on his marriage cert living there in june 1918 listed as a Furniture Dealer

He is not listed on the online electoral rolls, in 1920 it is Charles Ainsworth Lee and Rasabello Lee.

Thats typical, why did people move around so much in those days, I suppose most of the dwellings and shops etc were only rented.

It might be a 'flat over the shop' or an accommodation address as you have to live in the parish to marry there (I think ?). Eligibility to vote was more complex then as well. Something like a Kellys directory for 1918 or 1919 might be more use.

Fredericks father was also a Frederick George and was listed in 1918 as a grocer, now that must have been a shop, but where.
