I'm looking to find any information on this gentleman as to where he was employed, occupation listed as a commercial traveller, watches. Would that be somewhere in the jewellery quarter? Lived on Cherry Orchard Road in 1939. Also seems to have been a Special Constable.

if you could find him on the 1921 census that usually gives place of employment but you need to subscribe to find my past...

If you find him on the 1921 census it should tell you where he was employed. !921 census available on Find My Past - you need to register (that is free) and can pay for the census as a one off. Transcript is £2.50 or copy of original is £3.50
