Great to see these photos of the fruit market as we found out recently through doing our family research on the Mytton Family Frank Ellis who was the chairperson for the fruit market is in our tree. Unfortunately he died a few weeks ago his funeral held at St Martins with hundreds there. Apparantely it was on the local news but i never saw it living in Hull. Frank was the grandson of Ralph Ellis and Laura Mytton, Laura been the sister of my husbands great nan.
