Foxton Road, Alum Rock

Peetzer

knowlegable brummie
Hi all, In the quest of my search for my long lost great-grandad, I think I may have tracked him down to 62 Foxton Road, Alum Rock in 1968

If anyone has any insight into who lived here around then I'd so appreciate it!

Name: William

As a note: he would be around 5ft 2', one leg shorter than the other

Known surnames: Dalton, Jackson, Hindley, Handley, Hanley, Hadley

In 1939 they were at Foxton Road.
Mary Handley was also listed at that address.
Jane Holder's maiden name was Handley. Father listed as Henry on marriage cert.

You can buy a copy of his will here
Thanks to you Janice, I think we've solved the case! This is his half sister, who he appears to have moved in with towards the end of his life which nailed his death down to 1968, the certificate should be with me by friday. I've also found probably one of the best newspaper articles I could wish for!

I'll try post on my william Dalton thread
Thank you so much for your help!
