thank you guys, my nan was half italian and lived in fox st/bartholomew st, my uncle said she went to that school, was wondering if it had been st michaels.
My wife's Nan and her older brothers and sisters attend Fox Street School between 1880's and 1910......she has a few of their school books whic were awarded to them for....attendance/reading or something like that.
I used to work in Fox Street School. It was used by Birmingham Education Department in the 70's to store school meal supplies downstairs and upstairs (where I worked) was part of the finance department.
