I bought this postcard on Monday in Brixham. Where is this? I have left a couple of clues (some in writing).

A gold star (remember them?) for the first to get it right - NO GUESSING...

Sorry I meant the council house next door. Think it was no I Camberlain Square. He fixes all the hob nobs computers for a living. Jean.

Arctually Keith I have declined invitations to buffets in the banqueting hall[no joke] for services rendered to the comunity. It's their way of a thank you. We served on the local forums and I was treasurer. Would not attend out of principal. Tax payers money. Had an invite to Houses of Parliament with kalid Mamood for the same reason. Couldn't be bothered. Pete said he'd have to polish his shoes and couldn't be bothered. Jean.

I think Norma should be excluded for the misspelling of Birmingham any road up ;)

Just like to say it is looking grand now it is all cleaned up = we are looking forward to going to an event inside. My last time was to see Acker Bilk. I threw a San Izal toilet roll at him from up on high. Well it was the thing to do then ;)

Yo Bernie , yep the old place sure is in fine fettle now, inside & out,
Gone all posh inside, nice seating but thats lowered the numbers to about 950 i think,
Acoustics vastly improved,, very technical sound deflection screens hang above, sounds great in there,
Take your hip flask,, Bar prices oooh!, Get the missus an Orange juiced bottle (Vodka mixed) handbag style lol
Park around the back of Gt Charles St/Edmund St, no charge after 6pm then easy walk through.
Cheers & enjoy,, JohnY

ps Don,t chuck their Toilet rolls,,they,re these posh fluffy-velvet types, Float in the air,
no accuracy or thud when ya throw em,,,

I think you should be able to come out of the corner now Norma. I'm sure Langy will keep your cap in a safe place.Ha!Ha! Mo

Norma - you don't belong in the corner. Your replies are intelligent, sincere and extremely witty.

Yep you have been punished enough and as Keith says its undeserved. Come on out of that corner we need you.

I think it's the Town Hall in Victoria Square looking from top of New St., Colmore Row to the right. One of the statues is, if I remember correctly, James Watt.

Left Birmingham in 1958 at 19 years of age, but it's still my spiritual home.

i remember that place i started work in the post office on the other side of the square as a messenger boy in 1948 Allen
