For the Bus fans

A strange model - it doesn't represent a real vehicle, Birmingham had nothing like that in the fleet, more for the "collector" market as there's only 1000 of them.

Thanks for the info Lloyd, I'm a bit disapointed now, never mind still a nice model.
I'll get your advice next time I bid.:)

Or if you're in to the real 'boy's toy', Meccano, you could make this Midland Red 'S15' type...

Your Meccano job is fantastic. I remember trying to build a Bristol open-top tram from my limited collection of Meccano pieces, but I was only 10 or 11 at the time, and there was a war on.
Your diecast model pics are fascinating. I bought two white metal kits of the PD2 and tried to doctor them to look like a TD6c and a TD7, but I was always irritated by the incorrect width of the front nearside lower deck window. Obviously the mass-produced diecast body incorporated the earlier casting as a pattern.
Never seen the Q 93 as a model before - it looks quite respectiable. The FEDD is nalso new to me, but the top front windows seem too shallow. I would have drooled over those years ago.
As for the fictional BCT 40, well, at least the buyer got a box and a certificate with it, so that was something for his money.
