First Edition, First Impression of the Original Guinness Book of Records from 1955.

A Reddit post states that the Edgebaston address on the letter and compliments slip is merely the address of the regional manager of Guinness, who , at that time, published the book , and who sent it , presumably as a review copy

The publisher at that time was Guinness, and the edgbaston address was the local manager, whom worked for them at that address
