Fellows William and Clara

Hi I am looking for assistance in finding more detail on the Fellows family formerly of 74 Bond Street Stirchley Kings Norton up to at least 1909.
I believe William (b. about 1882) married Clara Palmer (b. about 1893) they had at least 2 children Arthur 1909 and Margaret (unsure).
Arthur was my father he migrated to Australia in the 50's and died in 1961 in a car accident.
I don't know much about him other than he served on the aircraft carriers Unicorn and Illustrious in ww2 prior to that I believe he was with the Warwick Constabulary he was Also involved in a Salvation Army Band possibly in the late 20's I understand he also attended/graduated from the Birmingham Conservatory of Music.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank You for that Terryb18

Now I can begin the task of searching up and down to find potential relatives alive today and those who came before us.

If anyone has anything particularly on Arthur I'd appreciate it as being his son i'd like to know more if I can.

I am thrilled I guess the chocolate connection could be the famous Cadbury factory?

Thanks Bren

Much appreciated, seems like there is a very supportive community over there, i am very grateful to you for taking both time and interest in my quest.

Should have said, the only way to be certain would be to obtain the cert's and check parents names on the cert's. Fellows is quite a popular name, i looked in the marriage reg's and there are quite a few William J entries throughout Warwickshire but this one is a likely one --

William J Fellows/Martha E Rogers 3rd qtr 1929 Birmingham S 6d 781

This would be confirmed by his age and fathers name and occupation on the cert

Thanks again Bren

Yes there are a lot of Fellows in the online search directories it gets very confusing at times but at least there is a lot of information out there it seems its more about elimination than inclusion.

We have been following My Fathers Mothers side as well Her name was Clara her father was John Palmer her Mother Charlotte we believe Johns parent were Richard and Sarah of Albron Wiltshire

Lots of exciting work ahead of us I think.

Cheers
