FARMER ROSA Birmingham Swimmer and trick diver

tsarah

knowlegable brummie
Hi can anyone identify the unknown lady on the left, with blonde hair - thought to be one of Rose Emily Farmer's (known as Rosa) sisters. Possibly, AMY, Catherine Elizabeth or Louisa Helen Farmer.View attachment 55788

Rosa was born in Birmingham in 1889, was in Shenley Fields in 1901, swam for her county and later was a trick diver and swimmer all over the north of england, Lancaster, Radcliffe and Blackpool in particular. In 1915 she married a handsome chap from the 6th Dragoon Guards, A scottish chap called George Mackenzie. He sadly died leaving her with 1 son, george born 1919. Rose then remarried and became Rose Hunter. She lived most of her later life in Glasgow. If any of the family history rings a bell would love to hear from anyone.

Thanks

Re: Birmingham Swimmer and trick diver ROSA FARMER who is the other Farmer with her?

Update and thanks to the Browne family of Brum - Rosa and Amy Farmer are the two sisters in the picture.
