I am trying to find any information on Thomas A Faragher born c1897 he
was married to my Greataunt Amy harper born 1899 in Birmingham.
I don`t know a thing about them so i am hoping someone maybe family
will see this and get in touch.

Hi, I have just started looking for my family. Patrick Faragher was my great grandfather. His son Thomas Harold was my grandfather and his son Tomas Horatio was my father. Unfortunately my mother and father split up just after I was born and I have never even seen a photograph of my father, so if anyone can help with any information or photos I would be really grateful. I found out that Thomas Horatio (my father) died in 1992. I feel I am clutching at straws at the moment so any kind of help will be appreciated.
 
i have looked for patrick faragher on the 1911 but he had died in 1907 aged 37 yrs.

his wife and some of the children were living icknield st. back 32 . no. 10 waverley avenue, bham

mary faragher widow charwoman 39 , william 19, m. elizabeth 12, L C faragher 7 and m. faragher 5.

then i searched for thomas and richard faragher and found them both at the roman catholic reformatory school in yorkshire.

thomas faragher inmate. 17 school part time printer machinist b.bham

in 1912 thomas faragher was living 1 court 20 heaton st. bham
in 1920 thomas harold faragher at 7 heaton st.
in 1922 as above
in 1925 as above
in 1930 thomas harold faragher and mary elizabeth faragher at 7 heaton st.
in 1939 thomas harold faragher at 15b hunslet rd. harborne
in 1945 thomas h faragher at 52 dufton rd. harborne living with george collard
in 1950 theres a thomas faragher living 191 martins flats, dymoke st.
in 1955 thomas faragher at rowton house, alcester street

I have found these at Key Hill Cemetery. Thomas Harold Faragher burial 1914 section L grave no 212. Amy Lucy Faragher burial 1959 Vault 17.

I looked in the death register but cannot find any with that middle name, it would have been interesting to see if it was family who registered the death, the only one i found is this --

Hi Bren, Thanks so much for showing an interest, yes I believe the one you found is my father. I am really new to this, where would I look to see who registered his death? Also I have looked and looked and can only find his birth, marriage to my mom in 1952 and his death, I cant anything to say where he was or what he did throughout his life, any idea's. WOW!! this is amazing where on earth did you find all this information. Thanks so much. Do you know of anywhere I could look to find a photograph of my father as none of my remaining family have any that I am aware of?
 
if only i did i would love to find a photo for you! there must have been some wedding photos in 1952 surely? could be school photos as well if you can find out where he went to school. sorry i dont know how to help you anymore. lets hope someone may remember the family but its a long shot! all the best, shera

Thanks so much for your help anyway. My mother and father (Thomas H Faragher) where married at Birmingham register office in March 1952. I believe they split up just after I was born in 1955. I think the Thomas Faragher you mentioned previously as being in Rowton House in 1955 may have been him ( i find this so sad) . Can you point me in the right direction as to where I may find where he is buried? I am totally new to this and really dont know where to start.
