Back in the late 50's, you could collect tokens from 'fairy' washing powder and send away for a bendy doll, which was a copy of the baby logo from the 'fairy' washing powder and washing up liquid bottles.
Did anyone else have one? I have tried to find one on ebay and other old toy sites but with no luck.

No did not get a doll, remember when they used to give plastic flowers away with washing powder, my mother in law got me a yellow plastic collander 42 yrs ago which I still have.

we used to have that green fairy soap, and my mother collected the tokens from the box...... for some christmas lights, they were red and white flowers with red lights in the centre. I inhereted them and they still light..... i have to say i dont use them though. I think she got them in about 1964
