Did this ever materialise ? Did WW1 prevent it from being developed ? (Source: British Newspaper Archive ). Looking at the housing there today I’d guess it didn’t happen. The houses look to me be about 1930s, so perhaps the scheme was dropped, either due to WW1 and/or lack of investment. Viv.
