Mr Sparks
Looking for any information of Elsie Hill born 1900 in birmingham she married Frederick Rooker in 1924 and had 8 children, trying to find her mothers name[maybe Lilian]and fathers name,i know she had sisters called Dolly and Edith think she also had brothers who were entertainers. Many thanks to anyone who can help me.Jim

I can't find a Dolly and Edith on the same census return, although I found a couple of birth registrations for Dolly 1898 Walsall and Edith 1897 Walsall. Elsie was resigiestered in 1900 in Aston. (If these are the right ones).

Unless anyone else comes up with anything I would suggest you get a copy of their marriage cert. between Elsie and Frederick. This will give you her fathers name from which you should be able to find the parents marriage and go from there.

Looking in the marriage records i found

Elsie E Hill/Frederick S Roocker 3rd qtr 1924 Birmingham N 6d 1164

I looked in the births and found this one registered

Elsie Elizabeth Hill 1st qtr 1901 Birmingham 6d 109

This could be the same Elsie, born at the end of the 4th qtr 1900 and they didn't manage to register her until the new year. Fathers name will be on the marriage cert and both parents on the birth cert
