Electric Cinema Station Street

this has probably been seen before but just in case..ghost sign back of the electric when it was called the tatler theatre also a sign on the side


 
thanks mike there is nothing really to add to that appraisal is there...i really do give up hope that before its too late the powers that be will leave us with some of our lovely old buildings..so sad that the history of birmingham means nothing to them

And I certainly hope that they have done their homework regarding the infrastructure for those high density towers!
 
Wasn't that the Tatler Lyn? Or are they both the same? I only went once with my brother while Mom was at the court getting probate for Dad in 1964. Obviously it doesn't have good memories.

dont quote me pen but i seem to recall it was also called the tatler...if you go back on the posts it may confirm or not lol

Ectric cinema became the Tatler in 1937
 
Things seem to be still up in the air concerning the cinema
