Edwards Emily

Re: Emily Edwards

Have you had a look on the family search site or free bmd? she may crop up there :-\

Re: Emily Edwards

Angie. Thank you for your reply, I shall give it a try. Have not done much research in the past year but now thought I would give it a try again.

Re: Emily Edwards

Ernie, I have had a look on the census but there are so many that might fit the bill. so you have any clues, ie parents name or siblings?

Re: Emily Edwards

DI.  I think i may have traced the correct one but just wanted to be sure.  There were three born within the space of 3-4 years or so in Birmingham, one is single age 22 a domestic servant and born in Aston ( this l could not find on the
" 1837 on line " now called " Find my past ", hope l have got these titles right.)  I cannot find the others,  but l will not give up and keep on trying.  I am fairly sure of the one l found but just thought that l could rule the others out if l found them.  Anyone can have all the facts in front of them but to crosscheck the same record gives negative results. I have all the information on this one if indeed it is the same person as earlier as she was born in Birmingham.  Maybe another mistake when the Census was recorded. Sorry Di I have misplaced the info that I had found about the others so l may have to start again with them.

Re: Emily Edwards

Re: Emily Edwards

Thank You Annie, I have mis-laid some of my research.
It's been so long and I cannot get to the Central Library these days. I had a trace back to the City Centre or should I say the Town Centre back in the early 1800's.
Take Care Annie. Ernie.
