My grandparents Wallace And Annie Newey lived at 3/3 Edward Street, Parade in the 1921 census. And moved to 82 Kelynmede rd in 1939 Census and my Mother lived there. But they have got her birth year wrong by 3 years before she was born. My grandad was a Jeweller Mounter at E A Marsh & Co 84 Vyse st birmingham jewellers in 1921census.

With regards the maps you posted on a new thread, here are a couple of better maps (1889 and 1950) of Edward St. Wallace appears to be listed at 3 Cambridge Place on the 1925 ER which ties in with 3 back 3 Edward St on the later map...

Parker & Osborne, drysalters and glass supplies, it seems were in Cleveland Street, Balsall Heath. They seemed to been the subject of bombing by the Luftwafffe in 1941.
The photograph suggests that they found new premises in Edward Street, Ladywood. They had few employees, it seems and ceased trading in 1981.
I leave this for our sleuths to discover and embellish. ;)

I am beginning to wonder if this picture is mislabelled. Cannot find Parker & Osborne as at King Edward's Road (which from map would be no 32). Post war they were either at Scotland st, or 71-77 Summer Row. This would be on a corner, with a pub on the other side of the corner , as in photo. But do not hav eany photos of that junction

I did at first think the wall sign might not be on the building where the firm was, being just an advert, but the lower fascia also had the firms name on it, which would only have been on the actual firm's building
