edith perks of sefton rd edgbaston 1912

hi guys
i am desperately trying to find the connection to bertha hinton was edith perks her sister or mother in 1912
at sefton rd edgbaston does any body know whom the real mother was i do beleive there is some perks family out there whom was related to edith and i believe in the sixtys there was edith perks whom was an acting insurane or club collector part time as she called at our house in king edwards rd ladywood she was a good dancer and danced with my mother in those early days so did her mother and it was the perks family whom ran a dance school in nechells early 1900 it was on nechells park rd or aston church rd in those days so i would really appreciate it from any body whom could throw light on
edith perks believed to lived in Shakespeare rd in the time of the fiftys or sixtys by one of the shops in Shakespeare rd ladywood

Alan I gave you the information about Berthas mother , yesterday, she was Catherine Wootton.
Edith was Berthas sister and she married Alfred Perks in 1912.

many thanks alberta ; i did pick up on it and last night i was scrolling through google sites and i think i picked up on one or two things as well;
regarding catherine wooten; but also lookng at there dates unless i am geting it wrong but it not be possible hat he was maried again after catherine had died
and it said that in 1901 bertha was 14 years old but i have found abit of catheine history on google which i was trying to recal what story my mother used to tel us about her mother and i did try find out about his mother ;but any way alberta ; i have sent for the mariage cert it as you have said

Alan, Bertha Victoria was born in 1887 and yes she was 14 on the 1901 census.
Catherine died in 1890.

Thank you again for your vauable time you have given me yet again ; i am in total debt to you with out i would not have got this far
as i have been scouring for ages for catheine a i have miss laidmy doc; for grand mothers death certif ; i wil be re applying for it
I did have it some years back i know the date of when she died but was not sure of her birth date so i worked it out lat night on google which is good
but not as half good as you ; you are a gem ;but also i learnt of her father on the gogle and piddock street nck
which is falling into place with some of the stories my mother told me now you have got on the case with her mother and where she came from and the ancestors of the my mothers family and the stories where they are all comin from
