I have lots of Eddowes' in my tree starting in 1779 after which they move to Wolverhampton then some back to Birmingham and others to London. I have too many names to list them all so anyone who is interested let me know as I can trace them in the census returns from 1841-1901 and may be able to help someone else with their research :)

Are you aware that a Catharine Eddowes was one of the victims of Jack the Ripper, and that she came from Wolverhampton via Birmingham? If you're interested in this person - who I seriously suspect must be an ancestor of yours - please send me a private message and I can point you in the direction of further information.
