Does anyone remember Sister Ridgeway

I work as a home care assistant and i love talking to the service users, they always have a story to tell. I was talking to a lady today who used to be a nurse at Dudley Rd (city) hospital during the 1950s. I asked this lady if she remembered a Sister Ridgeway. I had heart problems and spent most of my time in Dudley Rd as a child. I always thought a lot of Sister Ridgeway, she always let me ring the bell when it was time for visitors to go. I was always sad and that was the only way she could cheer me up. I would love to know what happened to her. The lady who i was talking to told me that she too has fond memories of Sister Ridgeway. Apparantly she used to be a dancer ,(tiller girl) before she took up nursing. Does anyone else remember her or where she is now?? i guess she would be in her late 80s-early 90s by now.
