Dixon Arthur Stansfeld, architect

Greetings.

I am an architect from Seoul, Korea. I am doing a research on Arthur Stansfeld Dixon, architect and metal worker from Burmingham, who designed the Anglican Cathedral in Seoul in early 1920s’.

I am currently travelling around UK with my wife and planning to visit Birmingham on Wednesday, 11 September, to look at two buildings he designed: the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft and St. John & St. Basil(now St. Basil Center).

I would also like to visit his grave; Wikipedia says he died in Oxford (I am going there too) but if anyone knows where his grave is, or what other places or facts about him I need to visit or know, I would really appreciate it.

The pictures and facts gathered during this trip will be presented at a special concert by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in October at the Anglican Cathedral in Seoul, of which I will be the co-host. Attached is the picture of the concert I co-hosted at the same place with the same orchestra in July 2017.

Thank you for the info. I didn’t know about St. Andrew’s; I will check that out as well.

Found a burial record for Arthur Stansfeld Dixon of The Hermitage, Deddington, Oxfordshire, died 8 January 1929 in Woodstock but buried on 12 January 1929 at All Saints' Church, Witley, Surrey. Interesting?

Yes that was the date of death that I found. At least or friend from Seoul now can visit the grave if he wishes.
