those forum members researching these surnames

One of my great great cousins who would have been born around 1910 or before played for one of the Birmingham teams but I'm not sure which one. His last name was Winsper, I guess I should try and down something on him but hard to know where to start. Mo

Hi S, The player you are referring to is probably R.T. Tom Winsper more likely to be born
around 1900 season details available 1921 as it is an unusual surname - Wak

Wak,

Interesting that; the teams from 100 years ago. The Villa Goalie: Skiller...Skiller of the Villa, that's got a ring to it. Bache and Eyre sounds like a pair of grave robbers! Look at the Blues team, one called King and another named Beer, sounds class to me. But Pompey 5 Blues 2...you don't wanna believe everything you read in the papers.

Thank you Wak that was his name so I guess it must be my relative. Where would I look for details regarding that? I was not sure of his birth date but my mom was born 1905. so that sounds right. I still have two relatives still alive who were his cousins and I hear from them every Christmas. He belonged to a large family. Mo
