On the 20th January, 1896 Ms Joshua Margoschis, Charles Johnstone, Frederick Rinder and James Lees became provisional directors of the 'New Aston Villa Football Club Ltd' At that time 2,000 shares at £5 each provided a capital of £10K to acquire seven acres of Lower Aston grounds on 21 years lease with the power to purchase the lease Looks like football finances flipped!
