Devon Cafe Corporation Street

This 1928 photo was taken at the Devon Cafe. It’s address is given as Corporation Street. I doubt it was your greasy spoon sort of place as they were at a dance. A 1927 advert for the opening of the place gives the address as 89 Corporation Street. Viv.

Just found an advert Lyn which I’ve added to my original post. Says it was at 89 Corporation Street. Not sure where that was on Corporation Street. Sounds like a fairly well to do sort of place. Viv.

ok thanks viv and yes in 1928 i would think it was upper class...i wonder if the building is still there
