i have philip dawson born 1857 birmingham
and a possible death 1912 walsall union infirmary no family on death cert just coroner
he was in a coma from a brain tumour age 55
it says unknown taken to infirmary nothing known about him he had previously said he was from birmingham
there is a philip dawson buried in key hill 1912. L 207
philips parents are buried there william and elizabeth dawson
am i jumping to conclusions or does any one else think this could be him
cant find another death for him

Theres a philip dawson (transcribed danson) and family on the 1911 census living king edwards rd. bham.
philip dawson is aged 52, born bham, occupation ladder maker. he is with wife emma and 3 of their 4 children. one of the children named harold.

a marriage cert for harold dawson in 1917 states father is named philip john dawson (deceased). marriage took place in handsworth, staffs.

so it could possibly be this philip dawson who died in 1912 that you found. going back in the census his father seems to be william, and i couldnt find another death.

harolds certificate is wrong it has his brothers name on it not his fathers
emma is my great grand mother that is her 2nd marriage and family

what a pity there was no information on the death cert but i would think that you do have the correct death.

thats what i hoped. seems too much of a coincidencewith his parents and nephew all in section l.
they flit between names too emma or emily
philip or frederick so it would be nice to think id found him , i found her with harolds 2nd wife in handsworth cemetery
