i am trying to trace any think onthe dawson family that lived at 107 gillot rd edgbston they did originate from oldam lancashire i beleive the father was a motor dealer and went to america to live
there name was morris dawson , Iremeni dawson Glenniss
dawson i beleive morriss and irene came back to england in the eightys

Hi Astonian,

My father Albert Edward Dawson was born in Rochdale Lancashire in 1907
which is Oldham area so could possibly be related.

Many Thanks For Your Response so quickly thats possible connected
and i will persue on that and they was a great family very decent people
i just love there accents if you can or if you know any think else that might
come to mind please let us know i know there is a girl friend whom the
dawsons sisters know and i know very personaly that used to work at the
heartlands club in aston church rd nechells but i havent seen her for a while
i beleives she lives around that area some-wherewho did keep in touch with
irene and morris her name was ursula ridings she used to live in ickneild
port rd and her father was the mortary attendant
but any way dave if you can think of any think please let me know
