Hi all
I am just getting so much out of the genealogy stuff! I found some details about a new branch of my tree last night (actually very early hours of the morning) and I'm just thrilled...
...Anyway!
Two queries really if anyone can help:
I have Thomas Dalman (b1821 Derbyshire) ,
Mary his wife (b1818 derbyshire)
Jane Elizabeth (b1841 derbyshire) (my GGGmother)
Thomas (b1849 derbyshire)
I have the family in the 1841 census still in Derbyshire and in 1861 in Birmingham. They would have been in Birmingham prior to 1859 which is when Jane married my GGGfather William Barton at St Martin's
1. Does anyone have these DALMANS in their tree and can they place them between 1841 & 1859? Were there any other kids between Jane & Thomas Jr?
2. In 1861 Thomas Jr is listed as an Omnibus Conductor (aged 12), What sort of omnibus would that have been?
Many Thanks if you can help
Regards
