A Brummie Dude
Hello.some one once told me the black strip on the lollypopman/womans sign was to write the reg no on.if some one did any thing wrong, and then show it the police.is that true?

Not sure if it was designed for that but the lollipop man who used to dance into the road to cross us over for secondary school used it for that, he always had a stick of chalk with him and the day he got knocked down, the driver was caught because he had written the number on the black stripe - story is he kept on about this and the hospital staff thought he had concussion, it was only when he told the policeman that they examined the stripe and there it was - so guess it may be true.
