gone but not forgotten
Hi Has Any-body Drank In The Little Pub In Steward St The Cross Keys
This Old Pub As Recently Been Gutted Out And It Was There For Many A Year And Now Its Open You Would Be Amazed What They Have Done To It
They Have Spent A Fortune On It
Its Down Spring Hill And The Road His Behind The Steward Street School
Its Past The Old Forge , Black Smith Used To Be ,
Is There Any-body Whom Went To That Or Whom Lived In The Street I Used To Know Quite Afew Kids In The Street One Springs To My Mind And That Was The Grithis Family ,The One Member Of The Family I Will Never Forgot
When I Was In The ARmy I Was GUARD Duty Late One Night And This Particulasr Knight We Had The Red Caps Turn UP And Whom Was Being Escorted In The Back Of The Jeep Under Guard Was My Old Mate Bily Grith
And I Had To Put In The Cells And Wait For Another Escort few Days Later
To Take Him To Militry Prison , I Used To See Him That He Was Okay
When The Commanding Officier Was Not Looking
Best Wishes ASTONIAN ,;;
