I am sitting here a sniffin,
I have a rotten cold.
The flue jab, given for nuffin,
“No flue” I’d had been told.
My wife she sits a smirkin,
no flue jab did she get.
No runny nose, no coughin,
she surfs the bloomin’ net.
Eye’s are bleary, body all hot,
“Paper hankies please”.
Flue jabs, well I’ll tell yer wot,
oh heck, I’m gonna sneeze.
I’ve sneezed on my computer,
shot flue germs everywhere.
Oh Robert you silly submitter,
giving flue to friends out there.
What will they think of you
when they begin to wheeze.
Oh there’ll be a great to-do,
as they sneeze and sneeze and sneeze.
Oh I tink I’m goin, t’die,
an’ I’b talkin’ down by dose.
So in by bed I’ll lie,
an’ when I’b gone, upon by chest
just place a lubly rose.
Not that I could smell it.
