Coronet Motors 1951

Hi,
some of you may have read my previous postings about the racing driver Ken Miles. I am researching him life in England, does anyone remember Coronet Motors on the Coventry Road, Small Heath? It is believed that Ken worked there late 51, can anyone help with a picture from that year. Also does anyone remember him working there.

I think this is Coronet Motors on the corner of Whitmore Rd, it looks to be around the mid 50's.

Hi Phil, thanks for the picture but I think its from the late sixties as there is a Ford Cortina MK2 in the picture.

Yes you must be right as the first Mk2 was produced in 66.

Definitely not fifty's looks like a Vauxhall Viva coming up the Road, most probably mid 60's.paul
