Don't know if this had any connection to the Cooperative Society or whether it was completely different. Anyone know what the Cooperative Hall was ? Can't work out which building in this view was the Cooperative Hall.
A Cooperative Hall was a centre where the Society could hold events, and also sometimes also contained some offices. There was one in Stirchley. The book "Birmingham and the Black Country", by Ned Williams mentions it as below, where it certainly looks like the taller building in the centre of Viv's photo
