I have been given some information "abstract of the Will" from 1884 gained from the Birmingham library
The wording states" it mentions freehold properties at 11 and 12 Spooner Street Vauxhall, Birmingham"
Does this mean they were owned by the gentleman who died.?
If they were not living there at the time of death and appeared never to have lived there does it mean that they owned and rented them out.
This man, Samuel Cooper, appeared to move around a fair but within the same area near Digby, Legge,, Moland Streets. I am therefore surprised that if he owned property that they did not live in it.
Is it possible to get copies of the original will rather than what appears to be a typed summary. I might do this if someone can tell me they think it is worthwhile.
I am in Australia and will send away to get it if necessary.
