Collis TV and Radio - Graham Felton.

I worked at the Brownhills shop under the manager Roy Skinner, who's brother in-law was Frank Rice one the senior directors. I was moved to the West Bromwich shop located in the Sandwell Center. The manager there was an old chap called Bert Postons, I certainly had some fun times working for Collis radio, I also remember the old Hillman imp vans which used to choke us to death with the oil fumes coming from the rear mounted engine. Collis radio replaced the old Hillman fleet with the mark 1 escorts. We thought we were in heaven driving these vans. I left Collis radio in the early seventies.

When I retired I moved to Anglesey, I joined the Amlwch copper Mens Shed, not long after Graham Felton joined the Men's Shed we got talking and we was both amazed that we worked for same company at the same time line needless to say we both had happy stories to tell and share.

I moved back to Shropshire 2024 but still kept in touch with the Mens Shed, they sadly informed me that Graham passed away on 3rd April, his funeral is on the 8th May at Bangor Crem.
