Hi

I'm looking for the marriage of a George Collier and Elizabeth ?.

Elizabeth's surname could be Jukes, as that is my ancestor's middle name and there appears to be a tradition in the family of taking the mother's maiden name as the middle name.

The marriage would have been before 1796

Can anyone do a look up for me?

Thanks

just to let you know i have looked but unable to find marriage.

i notice the christening of elizabeth collier was at st philips in 1796 so looked for a marriage there as well as st martins but no good im afraid :(

Thanks for looking - it looks like I've reached a dead end on that branch of my tree. ho hum ..

it doesnt mean he wasnt there but a lot of older records are hard to read or he could have been christened at another church :)
