Hi. Does anyone have any pictures of the Policeman advertising the shoe repair shop on Park Lane that faced Clarendon Street ? The only one I can find Is the Coronation Party photo of 1953 But if there are any others about I would love to see them. Thank you.

there was one after 1953 and it was a huge hoarding board with just the boot in full size of the hoarding as i recall it and as far as i know that could have been the last huge poster i recal the police man one as well best wishes Alan . Astonian ;;;;;;

It was after the policman one they put up a huge big bill board size of a huge brown boot and years after that they took that one down and put a more simple advert the number eight bus used to stop just yards from the shoe shop then there was a big terrace and i beleive the coal yard was close as well best wishes Astonian ;;;;;
