Church archives

All Saints Church, which is the parish church for Kings Heath, has an archive dated from the 1860s-recent times. The collection contains church records, photographs, and a range of information related to the social and economic life of Kings Heath and the wider area. It is sorted but not catalogued. We have recently received useful advice from The National Archives regional manager. Two events in September 2024 - a Weddings Festival and Birmingham Heritage Week day - attracted good audiences. Our archives group would like to make contact with other church archives groups, to share ideas, advice and experiences. We'd also welcome support from anyone interested in volunteering to help with our archive work. If you are interested, as a church archive group, or individually, please email us at asca@allsaintschurchkh.org with the email heading FAO Vivien and Gill. Thank you - we look forward to meeting you!
