Fazackerley

Does anyone remember a fish and chip shop on King Edwards Road Ladywood called 'Fazackerleys'?
I think the father of the family was from Liverpool.

Not from personal experience, but it was:
Fazakarley Jn. fried fish dlr. 116 King Edward's rd 1

It disappeared from the directories between 1956 and 1962

yes thats true mike long before 1962 the shop had stayed closed for years before that
they was removed from the directory and then every body came up to the prices shop
abit further up the rd of king edwards rd to the junction of monument rd and cross over to the other side of the rd to get to her shop i think i have got a copy of her shop and the junction and if i rememember corectly the other closest one to king edwards was one in mossys rd shakespear rd up around the block but those rds was very long to walk up if you decided to that so pricie would have been closer
and how i come to that conclusion because i lived at 243 king edwards rd lady wood
