I went to Chandos Road and still remember the painting of St. George hanging in the main hall. What happened to the painting?

Many thanks, I left in 1966. Memory is a strange thing, all I can remember about the School meals was the beetroot served with the salads, most children hated it and I loved it so scoffed all theirs.
 
My daughter in law teaches at the new school and she has tried to obtain photo's of the old school but sadly most have been destroyed. If any turn up I will post them on this thread. Jean.
