Does anybody know of a Catholic Children's home run by Nunns in the early 1920s somewhere in the Longbridge or Rednal area. A gentleman I met at Oxford FHS fair last week is enquiring as his mother was sent to such a home with her two sisters.

Hello...does anyone have any information about Maryvale ? It was an orphanage and a school in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
I was a pupil there as a very young child, but I do not have any memories of my time there. I would greatly appreciate any information people may have about life at Maryvale in the 1950's. Regards and best wishes, Martin
