What a wonderful achievement to do 100 laps of his garden and then to raise £20,000,000 for NHS Heroes. How much can he make? Let’s try for £30,000,000!
 
i did post this on our trying times thread but think it deserves another showing...what a truely amazing man...

Captain Tom is top of the itunes singles charts. Michael Ball has co-ordinated a single of him, Tom and some members of the NHS Voices of Care choir singing "You'll Never Walk Alone". They each recorded it separately - as can be seen in the video - and it was digitally put together.
Second in the charts is (I assume a re-release) Vera Lynn and Katherine Jenkins singing "We'll meet again".

I fully agree, and much more worthy than many of the political honours that are dished out in large quantities every few years.
