Cameron/Allport Family

Hi

Family use to live at 15 College Street ( From 1925)
Camerons were landlord to The Junction Inn, 39 Cardigan Street and The Bell in Phillips Street. Dates 1900- 1908?
He also worked for the post office.

John Miller Cameron lived in Cardigan Street 1901/1911? He and his wife ran a boarding house, the 1901 census, does have several boarders.
Also looking for the Allport name, Charles Henry, 3 generations with the same name.

Any information would be a great help.

Hi,

John Miller Cameron was my great great grandad. It was his son John Alfred that was the landlord of the junction pub. Haven't got any Allport links at the moment so think that's a child further down the line that married an Allport.

You can look at my tree on ancesry.com Lisa Mary's Tree (Cameron)

I'll let you know if we come across the Allport link

Best Regards

Lisa

Ah that was quick I've found you Marian daughter of Florence Hilda daughter of John Alfred married Charles H Allport. Doesn't look like Florence ever married.

Marian is on my tree now so if you look you can see mine and also Nicholas Cameron son of Frank brother of Florence he's got a tree as well with lote of pic's

Best Regards

Lisa
