Callow, James. Mother's maiden name?

Hi I cannot find a marriage for James Callow's parents William and Eliza. GRO index lists her maiden name as Peerss. Do you agree it is Peerss or could it be another name?

Looks like Peerss but probably should be Peers (other children reg. with such) but there doesn't appear to be a marriage registered.

It was not uncommon for people to not marry.

Coincidently, I see there's another William Callow born about the same time living on the same street as William and Eliza in 1861.

Thanks for that. I noticed that too but as yet haven't been able to find a link.
 
The fathers of the 2 James Callows don't appear to be brothers or cousins, so if they are related would be before this.

Though they do seem to be living fairly close to each other in 1841 and 1851 - Soho Hill & Soho Road.
