Thanks for that information, gives me more to look at. Reason family tree looks like he could be great-great grandad on fathers mother side. Intrested in 1861 cencus as Charles is married to Sybyl have daughter Eliza Rosson who if right tree married a Harry cooper. THis is what i am hoping to confirm

Thanks Harry & Eliza had daughter Sybyl Cooper (my Gran) who married Cecil Petford In 1914. This helps with tracing her side of family as i know next to nothing except that someone in the family was in the gun trade. As her house was decoreted with a lot of wild game trophies links ? to someone who was into big game hunting.
 
some infor: according to Cecil & Sybyls marridge cert, Harry had died date unknown before 1914. Plus the information that Charles Rosson had been married before might explain why when Gran died,dad discovered a half uncle he did not known about.
Also i now know where my middle name of rosson comes from.
