Bus on Argle st

Frothblower

Lubrication In Moderation
One for the Bus enthusiasts. This Bus was parked up by where I work in Argle street:)
Sorry I didn't get the Reg, I took the photos in works time:rolleyes:

The bus may have gone to preservation ? or to a private operator it still has its TWM logo on the side this tells me that it may have gone into preservation as a private operator would have had to painted out the TWM logo its all to do with legal lettering and all that

When NXWM were getting rid of their Metrobuses they would paint out the TWM logo it was very rare to see a bus depart Miller St still with it TWM logo and yet they never painted out the fleet numbers they would take of the adverts as well, they would still paint out the TWM logo if the bus was going to the scrapyard, it is all to do with new ownership and all that

The bus is parked outside of what used to be (and may still be) Major Minor commercial vehicle bodies ltd - and I notice part of the factory wall is demolished. Are they enlarging their entrance to enable double deckers to get in? There are none of that type of bus still in service, and as mentioned above any remaining would have the company name removed, unless it is in preservation. That is possible, but (as yet) unknown to me.

Well spotted Lloyd. They've been working on the building for weeks now. I thought it it was being demolished. There has been tons of rubble coming out. I had a look the other day and they have put in a long inspection pit and you're probably right about the entrance.
